Good, but if you want Great go with the 2100
4 Stars
Good, but if you want Great go with the 2100
Good item- appears to be a lower level to the classic 2100...The bolt is clunky compared to the 2100 with the metal body. I purchased as a replacement for a year old 760 Pumpmaster, Sorry Crossman the new 760 is not up to snuff with the model produced years ago. The Legacy 1000 shoots well out of the box and the barrel appears to be the same as the 2100...A good value, but not as solid a feel as the 2100. Assuming the bolt wears in and the action becomes smoother I would give it 5 stars. daughter thinks it is "way better dad" ... better than the new model 760. Photo attached... we added scopes and bi-pods, the kids like to shoot the Crossman swinging targets and old amazon shipping boxes with zombies drawn on them before we recycle. Crossman, was this the 766 back in the day? It seems like the same air gun that I remember plinking soda cans off grandpas fence....Good times This is an unbiased opinion- retail amazon price paid.
