Designed for fun and easy use, for all kinds of homemade treats-from fluffy popcorn creations, to sweet or savory roasted nuts and snacks. Zippy Pop uses less oil and lets you control the ingredients, for healthier, happier snacking! The patented stirring tumbling mechanism allows you to add seasoning and ingredients that you never could in other stovetop poppers: chocolate, peanut butter, caramel, cheese, and more! When your kernels are done popping, remove from heat and add desired ingredients through the silicone covered flavor port in the lid, and turn the crank to stir. Inside the pan, the baffles remain stationary while propeller blades lift the popcorn up and push it against the baffles to create an even distribution of your added ingredients. The result? Perfect, evenly coated popcorn, every time. Whether you prefer popcorn with salt and butter, flavored popcorn, or roasted nuts- you'll see and taste the difference in your first batch! Measures 14-3/4 Inches long by 8-3/8 Inches wide by 8-1/8 Inches high and weighs 2.62-Pounds. Zippy Pop is easy to use and care for. It is dishwasher safe and built to last. With its innovative, patented design and superior quality, Zippy the only popper you'll need to make perfect popcorn.

I tried the chocolate chips and marshmallows mixed in, and I was amazed! it evenly coats the popcorn, in a sort of crispy chocolate glaze. so tasty, and the cleanup was easy, even with sticky marshmallow.
crank is easy to turn. I recommend positioning lid so your wrist is over the cover for the large hole, as that is a spot that releases the least steam while popping. that said, it's not uncomfortable if you forget to do that.
this is going camping with me this weekend - we always take a camp stove, so I didn't need one that was for over an open fire. this is one I'll use at home and away.
Now the unwieldy part...the lid and stirring mechanism are one unit...you can't separate them. So, you pull the lid off and out comes the metal paddles with it. Now where do you set a large, hot, oily lid with these hot, oily, metal paddles attached? I end up sticking in the sink. You can't cover the pan with the same lid - the metal paddles won't insert back into the popped corn.
And the lid/paddles are a little time consuming to clean. I'm not talking 30 minutes or anything, but enough that I think twice about making popcorn because I know I'll have to clean it eventually!
I've gone back to the Whirley-Pop Stovetop Popcorn Popper which just meets our needs better. I'm keeping the pan portion of this because it'll make an excellent chili pot : )
