I'm genuinely pleased with this fan. Its variety of modes adapt perfectly to different environmental conditions and temperatures. Remarkably, it maintains a whisper-quiet operation even on the lowest setting, which is a major plus.
The remote control is a handy feature, streamlined with just the essential buttons. This simplicity is both its strength and its limitation. The absence of a timer button on the remote, present on the fan itself, is a minor inconvenience, but it's something I can overlook given the fan's overall performance.
Aesthetically, the fan fits seamlessly into my space. Its modern design easily outshines traditional box or window fans, making it a subtle yet stylish addition to the room.
Considering its superior performance, attractive look, and the range of features it offers, this fan is a steal at $70. It outperforms and outclasses any fan I've had before, and I can confidently say it's well worth the investment.
I purchased this tall fan expecting a tower of air, and it simply doesn't provide it.
On the positive side, the fan seems to be well built. It has a relatively small profile, and it is very quiet. It includes a remote and 7 levels of power. The light is dimmable, so it may be useful in a bedroom just to keep the air from getting stale at night in a room with no ceiling fan. I can't recommend it for any other application, and I wish I had saved the box to send it back. 2/5 stars
UPDATE: June 30, 2020, I moved to a new home in November of 2019 and brought this fan with me. When setting it up, I noticed that the housing wasn’t secure, and one piece of the plastic was pushed in on the side (see updated photo). I didn’t know if this had occurred during the move or prior to it. I pushed it back together so that the sides were air tight and used the fan again. This time, there was a solid stream of air coming out of the front of the fan, which now meets my performance expectations. I have it 15 feet away in the living room and can feel a strong breeze on the highest setting, but it is still quiet enough that it is not annoying or distracting. The best part is that it comes with a remote control, so I was able to program it into my Logitech Harmony 650 and 660 remotes (purchased on Amazon) so I can control it across the room. I am able to see the lights on top to know what speed setting it is on. The oscillation works well. Overall, I am supremely satisfied with the fan now and highly recommend it. 5/5 stars

All-in-all, this is a good fan though not one to totally rave about. Some things to consider:
I’ve owned a few QuietSet fans from Honeywell. They tend to last me, so I keep going back. Although I enjoy the white noise from a good fan, QuietSet fans are very quiet. In low modes, you can’t tell they are on by the sound. It also means, however, that these are not extremely powerful fans. Perfect for a home already air conditioned, looking for additional circulation or something to keep you cooler at night without jacking up the power bill — or, as I am currently using it, for your baby’s room.
The original version had 5 modes instead of 8. Although I think the 5 modes pretty much covered the fan speeds you’d need, adding 3 more doesn’t hurt you any.
What I absolutely didn’t like about this tower fan, was that the light from the fan used to automatically turn off after a handful of seconds. This version has a light like a beckon! It seriously lights up an entire room. There is a button on the fan to dim the light or turn it off completely. But (1) that makes the remote control useless because you eventually will get up to walk over to the fan to turn off the annoying light, and (2) it has 4 dimmer modes.... which makes no sense to me. On or off. Maybe, I’ll give you, the option for one dimmer selection, but four? It’s silly and unnecessary, causing you extra, precious sleeping seconds when you’ve dragged yourself out of bed to turn it off.
The remote has Power, Speed and Oscillation on it. Everything you need... unless the fan has a light 3x stronger than the sun on it. Even if you’ve turned the fan light off previously, the next time you change the speed of the fan, the light goes right back on. This is especially annoying when I’m trying to be sneaky, adjusting the fan in my child’s room.
The timer settings for the fan are 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 and 8. This is also handy while being completely annoying. 1 hour? Who ever just needs a fan on for one hour — that couldn’t just use it for 2 hours? My family and I live in California, where the days in summer can be 20-30 degrees warmer than the evenings. Dressing my little one for the temperature in our house when he goes to bed, and the temperature it’s going to be 5-6 hours later is an epic math equation, full-on nightly parental discussion and something of a game of luck. I dress him warm enough to deal with the cool down, and use the fan to cool him while it’s still hot. However, 4 hours doesn’t yet bring us into enough of the cooler night temperatures to want the fan off, and 8 hours is too far in that he wakes up because he is cold. A 6-hour timer would have been perfect, but apparently there is someone out there that benefits from having a one-hour slot. Who? Beats me.
The construction of the fan is nice and not too top heavy (my biggest concern for tower fans). The bottom pedestal (that clicks in, post-delivery) worked just fine on our previous version but has never clicked all the way in on this version. I dislike it because I’m scared that one day, the pedestal will break if the part that doesn’t click in like it’s supposed to, catches on something.
For a fan that I have for my baby, it’s a decent way to go. Not to loud, good fan settings, gentle breezes, timer and dimmable lights. This fan just lacks the necessary components to get it into the end zone for me. Maybe next version.
