Never been on a motorcycle in my life, bought this for a fuel gauge on a homemade gas tank on a 77 ford pickup. Arrived quicker than expected, well made and works great. Just what I wanted for this application.
Arrived with bright yellow tubing, which I didn't care for, but maybe I just missed that in the description. Swapped that out for clear tube I had laying around, no biggie. Threads on the bungs barely screwed in a couple threads, which worried me they'd leak, and also made the whole thing stick out rather far. So I scrapped the weld on bungs and brazed the barbed elbows directly to the tank for a clean low profile look. Basically, paid an awful lot for a couple of $2 fittings. Oh well, still got the look I wanted, and finally have a gas guage on my rat bob.
