I was a bit concerned ordering this off Amazon, from a retailer several states away. Definitely had to call my credit card company to explain this wasn't a fraudulent purchase on my card! But once they approved the purchase, it all went very smoothly.
It was 3 weeks to the day from order to our door. It was easy to check the progress of our shipment by calling the dispatcher with the shipping company. They always knew where our range was.
My husband met the delivery truck and was very impressed by their detail and work. Before even taking the range off their truck, they examined the route to our kitchen very closely, including measuring narrow spaces and taking pictures of the doors and walls. They unpacked the range, carried it in, and helped my husband get it positioned correctly.
I love having two ovens!! Have been wanting this for years. But due to the small size of our condo, knew I would never have the space for two wall ovens.
I've always thought all appliances were pretty much the same. But this LG range seems so much more "solid" than our last two ranges. It's the same size, but the ovens heat up quicker and the stove elements heat more quickly as well. In addition, the smooth stove top cleans like a dream. My last one was a real challenge to get clean...always had streaks that wouldn't come off. And LG has filled in the little groove around the edges that so easily catches dirt and crumbs.
All in all, this was an easy purchase and I absolutely love this range!
I read reviews about damage right out of the box,
That happens sometimes I'm glad this didn't happen to me after paying 2,100 dollars!!
I also read reviews about leaning on the range & accidentally turning on the range.. I still dont see how that can happen, It takes some effort to turn these knobs on & they click into the off position nicely!!! And the worse complaint I've read is the range is dangerous because kids can turn the Knobs on because they're in front of the range.... If I had little children I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT PURCHASE THE RANGE WITH THE KNOBS IN FRONT!!!
THAT'S NOT THE MANUFACTURERS FAULT!!! IF U HAVE CHILDREN, PURCHASE THE RANGE WITH THE KNOBS IN THE REAR!!! EASY FIX!!
WE HAVE CHOICES WHEN WE PURCHASE A CAR, APPLIANCES, HOMES, ECT.....

The real problems start when you want to use the oven or even worse, WAY worse, the timer. I would love for whatever ex game coder came up with these things. If you want the oven on, you have to turn the knob in any direction, then look, carefully if you are on the upper or lower oven half of the dial, then stop on the desired function. Then you set the temp and press the start upper or lower button depending on which oven you think you dialed to. If you miss any of this you get to start over again in a few seconds. But the timer is like a testimony to dumb programming. You hit timer, then the + button to start the panic to higher numbers, when I say panic, I mean after you hold the button for a second, it goes to 1 minute, then as quick as you blink, it's at 40 minutes, then you use the - button and try not to blink, then you are at 10 minutes, so wanting 22 minutes, you figure your only chance is to just tap the + button another 12 times. Yep, that gets you there. Only good thing is it makes the glass of wine feel like a reward instead of a guilty pleasure. You develop almost a PTSD about having to set the dumb thing. Biggest deal is it doesn't need to be that hard.... Anyway, excuseless-ly dumb, how many folks really don't have the extra 2 seconds if they have to get to some astronomically high timer setting???? Don't most timer setting hover around the hour mark or lower? It's just annoying every time.
So if you want a range that operates like a range, has UI designed by a coke addict and a miserable glass top to spend hours every week scrubbing on, then you have hit the jackpot with this one.
Con: not intuitive but well written instructions. Wish the notifications were constant alarms on the phone versus one notification that could get missed.
Overall I would buy this oven again.
