Need to improve the fan blowing force. I buy 2 Zephyr Vane HatFan Brim Mounted Hard Hat Fans, I also use both at the same time. Was able to keep the hard hat cooler than before but was still sweating. The battery compartment was very hard to open, had to use my knife with a small blade to open the locking clamp. I give you 5 stars for trying very hard with your hard hat fan. If you do make a larger unit with recharging one or two compartment 18650 3.7volt 5000mAh battery send me a text at (562) 883-4900 so i can test it ( very hot blooded so i sweat a lot, i carry 7 sweat bands for my hard hat to work).

I haven't got to see how affective it is yet it hasn't been hot enough yet, but I did put it on my hard hat already and the only thing I would fix on it would be how it attaches to the helmet I work on cell towers and it got knocked off my hat and fell off the tower other than that I like it.

Looks just like the pics but the the fan itself isn’t great at all and has very lil air flow. The overall design is great and would be amazing if it had a more powerful fan. I doubt I’ll even use it as it will do more harm than good but overall very cool idea.

Gives you a lot of air, I wish the batteries would last longer, when your really hot and there is no ventilation it's great gives you a little breeze right on your face it cools you off just enough. I work in really high heat environments, And this is amazing. It's a fantastic idea. I wish it would hold on to the brim of the hard hat just a little bit more.

I really wanted to like this. The materials they use are nice and flexible. In and of itself its a quality product. The only thing is the amount of air this tiny device pushes is useless. You can get 5 times the breeze this thing puts out by walking slowly, making this useless. I would love to see these guys engineer something like this but with a fan that puts out some serious air volume maybe powered by some 18650's. Does not even need to be attached to a hard hat. Could be attached to a sun shade that hangs down the back of the hard hat. At any rate no one that's in the field wearing a hard hat would be able to get any use out of this at all whatsoever. turning your head generates more air then this little fan does. Back to the drawing board on this one Zephyr. Good Luck!
